WESTIE FUN DAY!
We all had a great time at our Westie "Howl-O-Ween" Fun Day event, held at the home of Lee and Linda Wible.  Lee grilled burgers and everyone brought a dish.  It was a beautiful day, the Wibles did a fantastic job, and we all enjoyed visiting with each other and watching Westies at play.  Below are some photos of the day's activities.

NUTRITION
royal_canin_energy4800.gif
November 18, 2005 - We are grateful to Drs. Robert and Ellin Grossman for hosting our November program on canine nutrition.  Our guest speaker was Shelly Leonard with Royal Canin.  Shelly discussed Royal Canin's approach to nutrition, which first requires respecting the animal and understanding its specific physiological and nutritional requirements, and then tailoring the animal's food in line with its real nutritional needs.  Each year new formulas appear on the market with nutrients and elements that help prevent a number of health risks while they improve the quality of life and life expectancy of our dogs.  Royal Canin has an exceptional line of veterinary exclusive diets for dogs and cats, including its Hypoallergenic HP19 diet (helps dogs with adverse reactions to other foods and/or suffering from inflammatory bowel disease) and its Skin Support SS21 diet (to combat Atopy and contact hypersensitivity, and which happens to be the only one currently on the market for which clinical studies have been performed for Atopy).  To learn more about Royal Canin, you may visit the company's website at www.royalcanin.us
